Temamız yol. Bu derginin yayın hayatına başladığı ilk
güne gidiyor aklım. “Söyleyecek sözümüz var” diyerek
yazmaya başladığımız Dergi Bursa sayfalarının sayısı,
3 binin üzerine çıktı. Bize çok kısa gibi gelse de uzun
zamandır yolda olduğumuzu biliyoruz. Yazmaya,
fotoğraf çekmeye, tasarım yapmaya devam ediyoruz.
Bir yere vardık demiyorum, güzel olan: tam 4 senedir
yoldayız.
Our theme is the road. I am reminded of the first day of
this magazine. We had started Dergi Bursa by saying that
“We have things to say” and now the number of pages
has exceeded 3 thousand. Even though it seems short
to us, we are aware that it has been a long journey. We
continue to write, take photos and make designs. I do not
say that we have reached somewhere but the nice part
is: we have been on the road for 4 years.

olalım istiyoruz. Bizi “merakla”
bekleyin ve hakkımızda “iyi”
düşünün istiyoruz. En uzun
lafların en kısa özetiyle biz,
“Bursa’yı” ve onu anlatmayı
“seviyoruz.”– diyerek yola
düşmüştük ilk sayımızda.
Sadece Bursa’yı değil, tüm
ülkemizi hatta uzakları,
çooook uzakları da rotamıza
kattık. Hiç üşenmedik sizin
için kilometrelerce yol
yaptık. Bursa’yı zaten karış
karış gezdik. Amacımız bir
yere varmak hiç olmadı.
Yolda olmak, yoldayken
gördüklerimizi paylaşmak ve
size sunmak bize yetti. Dağ
başlarından engin denizlere,
uçsuz bucaksız gökyüzlerine
kadar neredeyse her tipte gezi
alanı ya da tematik konu bizim
için “yol” demekti.
Uzaklık kelimesinin anlamı
bizim için yakınlık oldu.
“Uzaklar güzel” dedik en
fazla. Çünkü yakın gördük.
Yoldayken yanımıza Bursa’yı
ve Bursalıları da aldık.
Paylaşarak sizin için de yol
açtık. Yaptığımız işin yolunun
bu olduğunu biliyorduk. Tek
taraflı düşünmedik. Yaz geldi
denize gittik, baharlarda
erguvan kokladık, kışın tarçınlı
bir salep içtik sizin için. Yol
açmak için elimizden gelen
her şeyi denedik. İmkanlarımızı
zorladık. Sanıyorum kelimenin
tam anlamıyla yol da aldık. Size
doğru bir sayı hazırlamak için
her yolu aradık, aradıklarımızı
ancak bulduk. Yolumuzu kendi
başımıza çizmedik; doğayı,
mevsimleri, Bursa’yı kendimize
kılavuz ettik. Bir yeri yol
edeceğimiz zaman ne kadar
yol gideceğimize odaklandık.
Ne vakit yol görünse tek
referansımız “siz” oldunuz. Bize
yol gösterdiniz.
Yolu gözlenen bir dergi
olduğumuzu öğrendiğimiz her
an mutlu olduk. Uzun uzun
yolları aştık geldik, teşekkürler
Bursa. Engelleri bir mola gibi
geçtik. Sayenizde yolumuzu
hiç şaşırmadık. Bu sayımızın
diğerlerinden farkı, yolun
kendisini anlatması. Yolda
olanları, hayalleri için yola
düşenleri, zaman yolcularını
konu ettik. Komşumuz
Yunanistan’a misafir olduk.
Akdeniz kıyılarındaki
maceramıza kaldığımız yerden
devam ettik. Antik dönemin
büyüsünde çok yere yelken
açtık.
Şimdi yola revan olma vakti.
Yolunuz açık olsun.

In the very first issue we had said
that we want to be “close” to you.
We wanted you to wait for us
“curiously” and we wanted you
to think “good” of us. In short,
we have started this journey by
saying that we “love” “Bursa”
as well as talking about it. We
included every part of our country
and even veeeery faraway places
in our routes. We never felt lazy
to cover many miles for you. We
already set foot on every square
meter of Bursa. Our goal was
never to reach a certain place. It
was enough for us to be on the
road and to share what we saw
during our trips with you. Each
theme of the magazine as well as
each travel location from mounta-
ins to open seas and the vast sky
meant being on the “road” for us.
The word ‘far’ started to mean
‘close’ for us. At most we said,
“Faraway places are beautiful”.
Because we saw them to be clo-
se. We took Bursa and the locals
of Bursa with us on the road. We
paved the way for you by sharing.
We knew that this was the way to
do it. We never thought in a sing-
le-sided manner. In summers we
went to the sea side, in spring we
smelled redbuds and in winters
we drank salep for you. We tried
everything we can to open up the
roads. We pushed our limits. And
I believe we literally made way.
We tried everything to prepare a
nice issue for you and we were
able to find what we looked four.
We did not plan our routes by
ourselves; nature, seasons and
Bursa were our guides. We focu-
sed on the roads we would cover
when we decided to go somew-
here. You were our only reference
when time came for us to hit the
road. You showed us the way.
We felt happy when we learned
that people eagerly awaited the
new issue. We covered many
long and winding roads to reach
here; thank you Bursa. We pas-
sed each obstacle as a stopover.
Thanks to you we never lost our
way. The difference of this issue
is that it tells about the roads
itself. Our topic is those that are
on the road, for their dreams as
well as the travelers of time. We
visited our neighbor Greece. We
continued our Mediterranean
adventure from where we left off.
We set sail towards the magic of
the antique period.
Now it’s time set off on a journey.
