23 Erkek Lisesi, her yıl Mayıs ayının son pazar gününde yapılan Geleneksel Pilav Günleri’nde eski öğrencilerini bir araya getiriyor. 2005’ten bu yana “Bursa Anadolu Erkek Lisesi” adıyla anılan okulun Mayıs 2011’de yayınlanan, “Bursa Mekteb-i Sultanisi” isminde bir kitabı da bulunuyor. “Ziraat”in mektebi Kuruluş hazırlıkları 1887’de başlayan, kentin en köklü eğitim kurumlarından biriydi Ziraat Mektebi. İlk kez 1891’de, Hüdavendigar Numune Çiftliği Ziraat Mektebi adıyla açtı kapılarını. Ziraat Ameliyat Mektebi, Bursa Mıntaka Ziraat Mektebi, Bursa Ziraat Mektebi… Defalarca değişti ismi. Yunanlıların Bursa’yı boşaltarak çekilirken kente verdikleri hasardan nasibini alsa da bugün hala sapasağlam ayakta. Hatta eskisinden daha iyi durumda. Yıllar boyunca birçok öğrenci mezun etti ve bugün Ziraat Meslek Lisesi adıyla yarınlara hizmet etmeye devam ediyor. İpek şehrine İpekçilik Okulu İpeğin merkezi kabul edilen Bursa’da 1888’de bir okul açıldı. Bursa İpekçilik Enstitüsü, Böcekhane, İpekçilik Mektebi, Tohum Mektebi gibi isimlerle anılan okul 1889 yılında ilk mezunlarını verdikten sonra önce Setbaşı semtinde Burdurizade Osman Efendi’nin evine daha sonra ise Maksem’de inşa edilen bir binaya taşındı. İsmi de “İpekböcekçiliği Enstitüsü” olarak değiştirildi. 2003’teki yangında ciddi hasarlar gören bina, 2010’da yapılan restorasyonun ardından bugün “İpek Üretim Ve Tasarım Merkezi” olarak yaşamaya devam ediyor. Güntekin, Orhan Şaik Gökyay, Kazım Baykal, Ziya Samar, Süleyman Nazif worked as teachers; and many famous people were educated in branches such as science, art, politics and social life… The place where Sait Faik Abasıyanık wrote his first story. Founded with the name “Bursa Mekteb-I Sultanisi” in Bursa, it is a historical place founded in 1886… During the Greek invasion a part of this school was used as a hospital; and this is a school which has these precious words of Atatürk in its book of honor: “I will always be happy with the memory of the most precious times we spent at the Bursa Sultanisi”. The Boy’s High School which is still open today, brings together its alumni during a traditional meeting held every May. Since 2005 the school has been called “Bursa Anatolian Boy’s School” with a book called “Bursa Mekteb-I Sultanisi” published in May 2011. “School of Agriculture” School of agriculture, which started its first preparation journey in 1887, was one of the most famous schools of the town in terms of education. It was first founded with the name “Hüdavendigar Sample Farm Agriculture School”. Agriculture Operation School, Bursa Mıntıka School, Bursa School of Agriculture… The name kept changing. Even though it was damaged during the Greek invasion, it is still intact. It is actually in an even better condition. It had many graduates throughout the years and today it is serving its students under the name of the School of Professional Agriculture. School of silk in the city of silk Bursa, regarded as the center of the silk, had a new school in 1888. Known by various names such as Bursa Silk Institute, Böcekhane, School of Sericulture, Seed School, it was relocated in 1889 first to Setbaşı district to the house of Burdurizade Osman Efendi after its first alumni graduated and later on to a building in Maksem. The name was also changed as the “Institute of Sericulture”. Seriously damaged during the fire in 2003, it now serves as “Silk Production and Design Center” after the restoration carried out in 2010.
