Müzik festivallerinin birincisi Bursa (2016) 13 yaşındaki Yeşim Nur Doğan, 1- 5 Temmuz tarihlerinde Paris’te düzenlenen uluslararası piyano yarışması ve müzik festivalinden başarıyla döndü. Yeşim Nur Doğan, 01- 05 Temmuz tarihlerinde Paris’te düzenlenen International Arts Festival kapsamında uluslararası piyano yarışması ve müzik festivalinde 13- 15 yaş kategorisinde birinci oldu. Bir doktor iki ödül (2016) Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa Devlet Hastanesi’nde çalışan Kardiyoloji Uzmanı Dr. Hüseyin Altuğ Çakmak, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nden iki ödülle döndü. Daha önce Türk Kardiyoloji Derneği tarafından yılın en iyi genç kardiyoloğu seçilen Çakmak, ABD’nin Chicago şehrinde düzenlenen ve dünyanın kardiyoloji alanındaki en prestijli kongresi olan “American College of Cardiology” ACC 2016 kongresinde, kalsifik aort darlığı olarak ta adlandırılan aort kapağı kireçlenmesine bağlı darlık konusunda yaptığı çalışmayla Türkiye’den giden tüm bildiriler içerisinde birinci, Ortadoğu’dan giden tüm bildiriler içerisinde ise ikinci oldu. Çakmak who was previously selected as the best young cardiologist of the year by the Turkish Cardiology Association came first among all proceedings from Turkey at during the prestigious ACC 2016 congress by the “American College of Cardiology” in Chicago, USA with his study on aorta narrowing due to aortic valve calcification and was ranked second among all studies from the Middle East. The students competed in the field of chemistry with the project they developed for the cleaning of petrol derivatives using the hydrophobic property of eggplant modified with polyurethane material and were ranked 3rd.
