71 Kapıdan içeri attığınız ilk adımla, Bursa’nın mübadele yıllarına doğru yolculuğunuz başlıyor. Karşınıza çıkan ev tekstili ürünlerinden mutfak gereçlerine her şey o yıllara, o yılları yaşamış, dün gibi hatırlayan insanlara ait. Gördüğünüz tüm eşyaların yaşanmışlıklarını her hücrenizde hissedebiliyor; o insanların o yıllarda çektiği acıları içinizde yaşıyorsunuz. Bursa’da en çok göçmen ağırlayan Nilüfer ilçesinin, mübadil kökenli bir nüfusla karşılaşacağınız Görükle semtindeki Mübadele Evi Müzesi; dopdolu içeriğiyle 2016 ocak ayından bu yana Bursa’nın mübadele tarihini anlatıyor. Balkan Savaşları, 1. Dünya Savaşı, Yunan İşgali… 1912’de başlayıp 12 yıl süren acı dolu günler… Yunanlıların “Küçük Asya Felaketi”, Türklerin milli devletin kuruluşuyla biten zaferi… Türk ve yunan hükümetleri arasında imzalanan ve mübadele ile sonuçlanan protokol… İki ülke arasında nihayet bir anlaşmaya varılmıştı ama bu barışın bedelini anılarını, geçmişlerini, sevdiklerini geride bırakıp gitmek zorunda kalan insanlar ödemişti. 1922-1924 yılları arasında yapılan göçlerde Anadolu’da yaşayan 1.200.000 Rum ve Yunanistan’da yaşayan 450.000 civarı Türk, doğdukları toprakları terk etmek zorunda kaldı. Onlara anavatanları gösterilmiş ve onlardan o güne dek yaşadıkları, öğrendikleri her şeyi unutup değiştirmeleri istenmişti. Anılar, Bursa’ya emanet… Olanlar oldu, yaşananlar Your journey to the population exchange years of Bursa starts as soon as you set foot inside. All that you are faced with from home textile products to kitchen utensils date back to those years and people who remember those years as if they were only yesterday. You can feel the life experiences of all objects you see and almost relive the pains that those people experienced. Population Exchange Home Museum in the neighborhood of Görükle where you will meet a population with roots in the population exchange at the district of Nilüfer that hosted the highest number of immigrants in Bursa, has been depicting the population exchange history of Bursa since January 2016 with its rich content. Balkan Wars, 1st World War, Greek Invasion… Days filled with pain that started in 1912 and lasted 12 years… The “Asia Minor Disaster” of the Greeks, the victory of the Turks ending with the formation of a nation-state… The protocol signed between the Turkish and Greek governments leading to population exchange… An agreement was finally reached between the two countries, however the people who had to leave their memories, pasts and loved ones behind were those who paid the price for this treaty. About 1.200.000 Greeks living in Anatolia and 450.000 Turks living in Greece had to leave their homelands during the migrations that took place between 1922-1924. Their homelands were shown to them and from that day onwards they were asked to forget everything they had lived and learned until that time. Memories are entrusted to Bursa… Whatever happened happened. It would not be possible to bring back the past, but maybe the memories and experiences of those people could be passed onto posterity. This could only be done by those who laid claim to their memories as well as their faithful children and grandchildren. And indeed, that was what happened. Residents of the “Greek village of Görükle”, those who came to Anatolia from Rumelia, those who migrated to Rumelia from Anatolia, those who formed the exchange population at Görükle coming down from the villages of Thessaloniki… Whatever is left of the memories of the people who lived those
