59 Hatırlar mısınız acaba? Uçurtmayı Vurmasınlar filmi 89 yılında hepimizi tebessüm ettirerek ağlatmıştı. Gökyüzünde uçan uçurtmalarla çok şey anlatılıyordu filmde. Senaryosu Feride Çiçekçioğlu’na ait bir Tunç Başaran filmiydi. Beş yaşındaki bir çocuğun gözüyle kadınlar hapishanesinin ve sevginin öyküsünü anlatıyordu. Küçük Barış’ın (Ozan Bilen) dört duvar arasında ne suçu vardı ki? Oysa esrardan tutuklanan annesiydi. Barış henüz algılayamadığı bir garip dünyanın içinde, her yanı soğuk ve sağır duvarlarla çevrili bir hapishane avlusundaydı. O kısır döngünün içinde sevimli bir çocuktu sadece. The kites flying in the sky told us many things in the film. This was a Tunç Başaran film with the script written by Feride Çiçekçioğlu. It depicted the story of a prison for women and love from the perspective of a five year old. What crime had Little Barış (Ozan Bilen) committed to be there? It was his mother who was arrested for drugs. Barış was in a weird world he could not yet comprehend, in the prison courtyard surrounded by cold and mute walls. He was just a pretty little boy in that vicious circle. So much so that, he said this line that we still remember when he peed his pants: “I did not pee, Miki did!” Barış only wanted kites, just like any other child. He watched the sky and the freedom of kites. He had even promised his Aunt İnci (Nur Sürer) that he would one day transform into a kite and come back there once after he was released.
