68 geçmiş zaman kipinde past tense bulundukları yerde başka bir yerdeki olayı üç boyutlu olarak ekranlarda görerek ya da duyarak değil hissederek elde edeceği günleri tartışıyor. İletişim sektörünün bugün geldiği yeri biraz düşünecek olursak, telefonların da bundan nasibini en çok alan ürün olduğunu kolayca söylemek mümkün. Bugün telefonlar asıl işlevi olan sesleri iletme dışında daha pek çok şeye yarıyor. Bundan 10 sene önce hayal dahi edemeyeceğimiz şeyler bugün sadece bir dokunuşla gerçek oluyor. Artık uzun yıllar evimizin bir köşesinde yer tutan telefonlar, ceplerimize girdi. İlk olarak telsiz telefonlarla başlayan bu süreç, şu anda en renkli ve görkemli dönemini yaşıyor. Numarayı çevirmek için parmağımızı tuş halkasına taktığımızda rakamı saat yönünde çevirirken bir tıkırtı, raylar yuvasına geri dönerken bir başka tıkırtı çıkartırdı çevirmeli telefonlar… Zil sesi en sondayken çaldığında evdeki herkesi ayağa dikebilirdi. “Kırmızı Hat” ise en meşhurlarıydı. Beyaz Saray ile aramızda olduğu söylenen Kırmızı Hat söylemi de bu telefondan ötürü ortaya çıkmıştı… Her birisi ayrı bir nitelikteydi. Bugünse tozlu raflardaki yerlerindeler. Şu an piyasada bulunan cep telefonlarıyla ise müzik dinleme, TV izleme, fotoğraf çekme hatta hareketli görüntü alma şansına sahipsiniz. Cep telefonuyla internete giriyor, görüntülü konuşabiliyor, canlı yayına geçebiliyor ve alışveriş yapabiliyoruz… Dahası şu anki teknoloji gelecekte olabilecek gelişmelerin çok küçük bir kısmı bile değil. Gelecekte bizleri çok daha gizemli bir dünya ile birlikte o dünyanın yeni telefonları bekliyor olacak. And the “Red Line” was the most popular. This was the reason for the Red Line rumor meaning a direct line between us and the White House… They were all unique. But today, they have taken their place on dusty shelves. You can now listen to music, watch TV, take photos and even capture moving images using the cell phones that are currently available in the market. We can access the internet, video chat, broadcast live and shop with our cell phones… Moreover, these do not even make up the slightest bit of the developments that might take place in the future. A much more mysterious future awaits us with brand new phones. You will continue receiving notifications even if you mute your phones…
