Kimisi için pop art tadında
geçen yaşam, kimisi için siyah
beyaz bir dram olabilir. Hayatın
herkese adil davranmadığı
aşikar. Ama genelde zor ve
renksiz olan günlük yaşamı
renklendirmek bence elimizde.
Bahar geldi. Çekinmeyin,
kafanızı gökyüzüne çevirin ve
bulutları takip edin, bakalım
sizi nereye götürecek. Gönül
yaylarınızı gevşetip, koyuverin
demiyorum. Sadece renklerin
farkına varın. Size gülen birisini
es geçmeyin. Hayatınıza renk
getiren her ne varsa, peşinden
gidin. Bursa baharda başka
güzel. Erguvanlara merhaba
demeden bir nisan ayı
düşünemiyorum. Yakın yerler
bizi bekliyor.
Yaptığımız iş gereği renk
neredeyse her yanımıza
bulaşmış durumda. Onlarca
katalog, dergi, fotoğraf ve
grafik çalışması renklerle hayat
buluyor. Bilindiği üzere her
renk bir duyguyu anlatıyor.
Fakat renk denince ismini
anmadan geçemeyeceklerim
var: Bursa’nın yeşili, dergi
bursa ve Photo Graphica’nın
kırmızısı, en sevdiğim renk
mavi ve kirletmekten her
zaman üzüldüğüm beyaz.
Hayat ise tıpkı ying yang’taki
gibi siyah-beyaz kadar zıtlıklar
taşısa da genelde gridir. Tıpkı
fotoğrafçılık terminolojisindeki
gri skala gibi içinde her tonu
barındırır. Beyazı doğum/
başlangıç olarak alsak, siyah
ölüm/son olacaktır. İşte bu
yüzden yaşayan her varlık
gridir bence.

Yüzünüze renk getiren dergi
Life can pass like pop-art for
some, whereas for others it might
be a black and white drama. It
is clear that life is not fair to all.
However, it is up to us to color up
our daily lives which is generally
tough and drab. Spring is here.
Don’t act timidly, look up to the
sky and trace the clouds to see
where they will take you. I do not
mean that you should let yourself
go altogether. Just be aware of
the colors. Do not overlook those
who smile at you. Follow whatever
it is that adds color to your life. I
cannot imagine an April without
welcoming the redbuds. Close by
places are awaiting us.
Thanks to our job, it is as if we
are immersed in color. Dozens
of catalogues, magazines,
photographs and graphical design
works come to life with it. We all
know that every color carries with
it an emotion. But there are some
that I have to mention when we
speak of color: the green of Bursa,
the red of dergi bursa and Photo
Graphica, my favorite color blue
and white which always makes
me sad when it gets dirty. Life
is generally gray even though it
carries some contrasts with it;
like the black and white of ying
yang. It has every tone in it just
like the grayscale in photography
terminology. If we take white as
birth/start then black will be death/
end. That is why; I think every living
being is gray.
We prepared an issue that will
bring color to your faces so that we
can thank you for all the time you
spare for us. Amidst these pages,
you can find and read any color
you want, since as we all know this
(colors) is a topic that is closed
to discussion much like tastes.
Rainbow can be your inspiration.
I would doubt that attending a
Holi festival would be bad for you,
you can at least color up a bit.
