Bu sayıda tamamından bir
damıtma yapmak yerine size
bir kesit sunmayı tercih ettik.
Biz aslında “doğal olarak”
beraberiz. Mevsimleri takip
ediyoruz. Her sayımızda
birlikteliğimizin ortak paydası
doğanın ta kendisi.
Bu not “Yeşil Türbe” için:
Pek kimse nedenini bilmez
ve yüksek ihtimalle çok da
sorgulayıp dikkat etmemiştir
ama Yeşil Türbe aslında
“yeşil” değil... Gözünüzde
canlandırın, sizce de mavi
değil mi? Nedenini bilenler
bu paragrafı atlayabilir,
bilmeyenler için aktarayım:
Vakti zamanında tarihi eser
kaçakçıları tarafından büyük
bir kısmı soyup soğana
çevrilmiş ve soyulan çinileri
bugünkünden daha yeşil
olan Yeşil Türbe, restorasyon
sırasında orijinal üretim
biçimine uygun yeni sırlı tuğla
yapılamayacağı ayrıca orijinal
Söze “Yeşil Bursa” klişesini hatırlatarak başlıyorum ama hemen yargılamayın. Yeşil diye semti bile olan bu şehir
doğası ile barışık mı? Bu kadar betonlaşmanın arasında ne yeşili diyenleri duyar gibiyim. Yeşil Bursa’yı kendi
logomuzda kırmızıya boyayan da biziz, hatırlatırım. Ama dayanamadık yine onu anlattık, bizce Bursa hala yeşil...
I want to start by reminding the “Green Bursa” cliche, but do not make judgments right away. This city even has a
district called Yeşil (Green) but is it really at peace with its nature? I can hear people say, where is the green you are
talking about amidst all this concrete. I should remind you that we are the ones who painted Green Bursa red in our
logo. But still we could not resist and told you all about it in this issue; we believe that Bursa is still…
What can we do, it’s in our nature
Ne yapalım, doğamızda var
One of the main themes of this
magazine is “nature” and you
have been following what we
present you during the last 5
years. In this issue, we decided to
put forth a section of it instead of
some fragments. We are actually
together “naturally”. We follow the
seasons. Nature is the common
ground that brings us together in
each issue.
This note is for “Yeşil Türbe”
(Green Tomb): Not many people
know or have questioned why
the Green Tomb is actually not
“green”… Imagine it now; don’t
you also think that it’s blue? Those
who know the reason may skip
this paragraph, but let me state
the reason for those who do not:
Once upon a time the tomb had
been robbed by historical artifact
smugglers and the glazed tiles
that were robbed were greener,
however during restoration it was
been understood that new glazed
tiles cannot be produced using
the original production method
and the tomb was covered with
bluish turquoise tiles thinking that
it would not be right according
to restoration principles to place
replicas of the original glazed tiles.
Thus, the real tiles have come to
the forefront…
