Bursa Photography Competition
is being organized for the first
time by Photo Graphica, bringing
together the photo community
of Bursa, public institutions
and leading brands of Bursa.
Significant prizes await the
winners as part of this project
which aims to contribute to the
art of photography and the values
of Bursa.
Anyone who is either an amateur
or a professional can apply with
at most four photos of black
and white or color and the first
three will receive 2 thousand
TL (1st), bed and breakfast in
a double room for 3 days at
Alaçatı (2nd), bed and breakfast
in a double room for 3 days at
Foça (3rd). The main sponsor
of the competition is Sheraton
Bursa Hotel whereas the official
sponsor is Bursa Municipality
and the print sponsor is Furkan
Ofset. The jury of the competition
which will contribute to the
historical and touristic values
of Bursa include photograph
artists Erdal Kınacı, Özgür Çakır,
Aykut Güngör, Demet Argun and
Engin Çakır. Photos can be sent
in JPEG format without a frame
which will be evaluated by the
jury in terms of suitability to the
competition theme, creativity,
way of expression and technical
criteria. The participation
form which should be filled
in full without any inaccurate
information along with detailed
information on the competition

The competition has been
approved by the Photographic
Arts Federation of Turkey (TFSF)
with the approval number of TFSF
2014/026. The results will be
announced on 8th of May 2014
and the 35 winning photos will
be exhibited at the Rodos hall of
Sheraton Bursa hotel. A photo
display by Erdal Kınacı will be
made as well as a conversation
between the jury and the
participants. Following the prize
ceremony of “Traces of the many
values of Bursa”, exhibitions will
be organized between 9th of May
Bursa fotoğraf camiasını,
kamu kuruluşlarını ve Bursa’nın
önde gelen markalarını bir
araya getiren Bursa Fotoğraf
Yarışması, Photo Graphica’nın
organizasyonu ile bu yıl ilk kez
düzenleniyor. Bursa’nın
değerlerine dikkat çekmeyi
hedefleyen ve fotoğraf sanatı
için bir kazanç niteliği taşıyan
proje kapsamında, değerli
ödüller sahipleriyle buluşmayı
bekliyor.
Amatör ya da profesyonel
herkesin renkli ya da siyah-
beyaz en fazla dört eserle
katılabildiği yarışmada,
dereceye giren ilk üç kişi; 2
bin TL (1.), Alaçatı’da 3 gün
çift kişilik oda kahvaltı tatil (2.),
Foça’da 3 gün çift kişilik oda
kahvaltı tatil (3.) kazanacak.

kurulunda; fotoğraf sanatçıları

Engin Çakır bulunuyor. JPEG
formatında, çerçevesiz ve
boşluksuz şekilde gönderilecek
olan fotoğraflar, jüri tarafından,
yarışma temasına uygunluk,
yaratıcılık, anlatım gücü
ve teknik kriterlere göre
değerlendirilecek. Eksiksiz
