Avrupa serüveni
“Bursaspor Türkiye Kupası'nda
ilk finalini 1970-71 sezonunda
Eskişehirspor ile oynadı ve (1-0)
(0-2) ile kaybetti. Başbakanlık
Kupası için de Fenerbahçe'yi
1-0 yendi ve aldı. 1973-74'te
ise yarı finalde Beşiktaş'ı
eleyen Bursaspor finalist oldu
ve finalde Fenerbahçe'ye
yenilmesine rağmen rakibinin
lig şampiyonluğu nedeni ile
Kupa Galipleri'ne katılma
hakkını elde etti. Avrupa'ya ilk
çıkış fırsatının yakalanmasında
K. İsmail'in İstanbul'da
Beşiktaş'a attığı golün (0-1) rolü
büyüktü. Ve bu gol, "Avrupa
kapılarını açan gol" olarak
Bursaspor tarihine geçmişti.

adam ise Mustafa Ertan'dı.
Avrupa Kupa Galipleri'nde
1974-75 sezonunda Türkiye'yi
de ayağa kaldıran başarılar
kazanılmıştı. İlk turda İrlanda'nın
Finn Harps takımını 4-2 ve
0-0 ile geçen kadro şöyleydi:
Rasim-Kemal, İhsan, Gürol,
Orhan, Vahit, Çeki, Sinan,
Sedat ll(K.İsmail), Ali, Turan. Bu
maçta Ali, Avrupa Kupalarındaki
ilk golü atan futbolcu olmuştu.

European Adventure
Bursaspor played the first final
of Turkish Cup in the 1970-71
season, against Eskişehirspor
and lost (1-0) (0-2) . The team
beat Fenerbahçe 1-0, and took
the Trophy of Prime Ministry.
In the 1973-74 season, as the
winning team against Beşiktaş in
the semifinals, Bursaspor got into
finals and despite losing against
Fenerbahçe, got the ticket to Cup
Winners because of the league
championship of its opponent.
On the way to Europe, the goal
scored by young İsmail against
Beşiktaş, (0-1) in İstanbul was of
great importance. That goal, then
