with Conrad Hilton, the heir to the
Hilton hotels. This marriage was
the first step that Liz took towards
a life of sensations. Following the
marriage that lasted for 9 months,
she married the actor Michael
Wilding who was to become
the father of her two sons. The
love and attachment that she
felt for her father made up the
foundation of her affinity towards
mature men as well as her
respect towards homosexuals.
But all her loves were unrequited
and each romantic step she took
ended in misery. Taylor starred
in unforgettable roles in many
successful films, but in her private
life she was seeking real love and
dreamed of a peaceful home that
she could share with the man she
loved. She had become the most
beautiful and rich woman in the
world, but the angel of love had
not smiled at her once again and
thus her marriage once again
ended. Her unending work during
the 50s prevented her from
getting carried away in her pain
despite the disappointments and
half lived happiness. At the end of
the 50s she married film producer
Michael Todd which she would
later refer to as “My happiest
marriage”. She had a daughter by
the name of Liza from this loving
marriage. Everything was fine but
this time death cast its shadow
on the happiness of Liz. Maybe
