bir sanatçının emeğiyle
birlikte yüreğini de katarak
şekillendirdiği eserinden
duyabilir; bir taş parçasının
neler söyleyebileceğine şahit
olabilirsiniz. Heykel sanatının
öncülerinden kabul edilen
Kuzgun Acar (1928 - 1976)
anısına 2007 yılından beri her
iki yılda bir düzenlenen ve
bugüne kadar kente 34 heykel
kazandırmış olan “Kuzgun
Acar Heykel Sempozyumu” bu
yıl dördüncü kez Bursalılar ile
buluştu.
Daha önceki yıllarda olduğu
gibi, bu yıl da maddenin
sanata dönüşme mucizesine
tanık olmak isteyen sanat
severlerin katılabilmesi için
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bulvarı
Hastane Alanı’nda bir “açık
hava atölyesi” düzenlendi.

kapsamında ayrıca

Sometimes, the strongest cries
are hidden in silence. You can
hear the freedom sounds of a
city through the creation of an
artist shaped by his labor and
his heart; witness what a piece
of stone can tell you. Since 2007,
the “Kuzgun Acar Sculpture
Symposium” is organized once in
every two years for the memory
of Kuzgun Acar (1928 – 1976),
one of the pioneers of the art
of sculpture. This year the
symposium, which has awarded
Bursa with 34 sculptures until
today, meets the citizens of
Bursa for the fourth time.
As in previous years, the “open
air atelier” was staged at the
Fatih Sultan Mehmet Boulevard
Hospital Area for the art-lovers
who want to witness the miracle
of matter turning into art. As
a part of the symposium held
between 5-27 September, an
interview on “art and freedom”
was organized with one of
the most prominent figures
of sculpture, Mehmet Aksoy.
Works of art by artists within and
outside Turkey were displayed
as the silent representatives of
freedom. The contributing artists
