kovulmuş bir anne ile alkolik
bir babanın kızı Adele Laurie
Blue Adkins. 1988 yılında
İngiltere’de doğdu. Müziğe
olan yeteneğini, annesi ve
babasının ayrılığından sonra
yanında yaşamaya başladığı
annesi keşfetmişti. Babası
ise onun bir alkolik olduğunu
öğrenen kızının yüzüne
bakamayacak hatta ileride
kazanacağı başarılara ortak
olamayacak kadar utanıyordu.
Tüm zorluklara rağmen hayata
verdiği değeri ve özgüvenini
kaybetmeyen Adele kendi
sesiyle ilk kez okulda tanıştı.

“broken hearted soul music”;
almost all her songs have a bitter
side as well as a deep love in
every note. The magic in her
voice comes from her music
passion, the pains of love as well
as the disappointments she has
experienced. No one complains
about her sudden emergence in
our lives and the way she takes
us to different universes with her
songs that she sings to heal her
aching heart. And she does not
complain about being called
“chubby”. She summarizes her
love to her job with these words

like getting my hair done and
stuff but I won’t lose weight just
because someone wants me to. I
make music to be a musician, not
to be a Playboy cover girl.”
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins is
the daughter of a mother who
has been thrown out of her
house when she was 18 and an
alcoholic father. She was born
in England in 1988. It was her
mother who discovered her talent
in music after she separated
from her husband. Whereas
her father was so ashamed
because her daughter learned
that he was an alcoholic that he
thought he could never look at
her daughter in the face or be
a part of her future successes.
Adele never lost the value she
gave life and or her self-esteem
and she first met her own voice
at school. Her peers shied away
from microphones during school
shows but Adele was in awe of
her own voice from the moment
she heard it. She was given the
right to attend the school that
Amy Winehouse went to, style
of whom Adele still likes. She
thinks that she owes her interest
in music and the milestone in
her musical career to her idols
Spice Girls and Pink for whom
she says that her life changed
when she watched her for
the first time on stage. Adele
proved her success in musical
instruments at school in a short
time and started writing lyrics at
about the same age. She never
thought that the song she made
when she was 16 years old would
reach all the world. One of her
friends who believed in her talent
had opened up a “Myspace”
page for her and had started
sharing her music from this page.
In 2006 she took the step that
would change her life forever and
Adele had now become a voice
that the world knew and loved.
The contract that she signed
after an offer from XL Recordings
became the door to a life full of
awards and music. This golden
voiced girl then got famous in
America and signed a contract
with Columbia Records. Her
mini albums entitled “Hometown
Glory” and “Chasing Pavements”
were released when she was
18. The album “19” which came
later was given many awards
in England as well as getting
positive reviews from critics. She
received the “Critics Choice”
award at Brit Awards. She also
won Grammy awards with this
album which is considered to be
one of the most valued awards
in the world. She reached a
worldwide sales amount of over
2 million. She had no idea that
