Walter Elias Disney
built a colorful and
magical world thanks
to a small mouse that
befriended him through
the toughest days of
his life… Those around
him thought that he
was not very talented and that he
was piddling about. The comics
he drew were not liked; all doors
he knocked to sell them were
closing on him one by one. But
he never let go of his dreams
despite the people who never
believed in him including first
and foremost his father. It all
started with a mouse for him.
The small company he founded
with the last of his money turned
into a media giant that reached
success with every project, got
nominated for Oscars countless
times thus breaking new records
and produced bestselling albums
with the scores of the animation
movies they produced. The Walt
Disney name became one of the
best known and loved brands
in many fields all over the world.

fazla yeteneği yoktu ve boş
işlerle uğraşıyordu. Çizdiği
karikatürler beğenilmiyor,
onları satmak için çaldığı
kapılar her seferinde yüzüne
kapanıyordu. Başta babası
olmak üzere ona inanmayan
herkese ve her şeye rağmen
hayallerinin peşini hiçbir
zaman bırakmadı. Onun için
her şey bir fare ile başladı.
Cebindeki son parasını
vererek kurduğu küçük şirket,
her yaptığı iş ile başarıya
ulaşan, Oscar’a defalarca
aday gösterilerek rekoru elden
bırakmayan, yaptığı animasyon
filmlerinin müzikleriyle en çok
satan albümlere imza atan
bir medya devine dönüştü.
Walt Disney adı birçok alanda

Oteller, parklar, plak şirketleri,
film stüdyoları, televizyon
kanalları… Bu yıl sahiplerini
bulan 87. Oscar Ödülleri’nde
“En İyi Animasyon Filmi”
dalında ödül alan “6 Süper
Kahraman” filminde de yine
Walt Disney imzası vardı.
