de ayrı güzel ama birçok yapıyı
ışıklandırmalarıyla görmeyi
kesinlikle kaçırmayın. Şehirdeki

ışıklandırılmış ve tüm gece
tekrar aynı keyifle gezebilirsiniz.

Plan yaparken
siestayı unutmayın
Aşırı turistik yerler dışında
çoğu restoran da dahil olmak
üzere 2’den 6’ya kadar siesta
vakti. Özellikle öğle yemeğini
restoranda planlıyorsanız
2’den önce yiyin. Bu aralıkta
büfe, market, kafe gibi yerlerde
atıştırabilirsiniz.
Su şişeniz olsun
Roma, sokak çeşmeleriyle
meşhur. Avrupa genelinde
suya para vermeyeceğimiz
en güzel şehir. Suyu almaya
kalktığınızda da bir hayli pahalı.
Bu yüzden mutlaka bir şişe ile
gezin ve her yerde rahatlıkla
bulacağınız çeşmelerden
suyunuzu tazeleyin.
See during the night what
you saw during the day
Rome is beautiful both during
the daytime and nighttime,
however you should not miss
certain structures when they are
illuminated at night. All touristic
structures in the city have been
illuminated perfectly and you
can walk around at night with
the same enjoyment. Castel San
Angelo is one of these structures
and others might greet you as
well.
Enjoy the Italian cuisine
Pizzas, pastas, risottos, lasagnas,
pasta sauces, ricotto cheese,
sea food, artichoke, zucchini
blossoms, fresh fruit, wine,
espresso… Multiple answers to
the question of what can be eaten
at Rome. You are at the capital of
Italy which is home to one of the
most popular and rich cuisines in
the world.
I have two suggestions for those
who wish to hang out with locals
while eating pizza abiding by
the motto of when in Rome, do
as the romans do. The first is
“Pizzeria Formula Uno.” It is a
priceless experience to sit down
at the wooden tables of a pizzeria
together with the locals of the
neighborhood and university
students for tasting the pizza
cooked in a wooden stove along
with various Roman cuisine
specials such as modified fried
stuffed zucchini blossoms. It is at
the Via Degli Equi within walking
distance right behind the Termini
Station at San Lorenzo... The
other one is the “Porto Fluviale
Ristorante Pizzeria” close to the
“Piramide Station” at the Via del
Porto Fluviale number 22. Doesn’t
matter if you choose Napolitana
or Romana; just pick your pizza
and enjoy the Italian cuisine away
from tourists at real prices.
Do not forget siesta when
making your plans
It is siesta time for most
restaurants during 2 to 6 if they
are not located at very touristic
places. If you are planning lunch
at a restaurant, eat it before 2 pm.
You can grab something to eat
from markets or cafes during this
interval.
Carry a water bottle
Rome is famous for its street
fountains. It is the most beautiful
city in Europe where you will not
pay money for water. It is quite
expensive if you buy water. That is
why carry a water bottle with you
and fill it up from the fountains
you can find almost anywhere.
