once you enter this place after
a long walk in the museum you
will find yourself examining each

mesmerized. Michelangelo has
transformed a simple palace
chapel into one of the most
important religious structures
of Christianity by himself. Every
picture and symbol represents
something from the Bible. The
fame of the Sistine Chapel is due
to the frescoes on the walls. The
most important and famous one
is undoubtedly, “The Creation
of Adam” on the ceiling. It is
forbidden to talk loud inside
and you will most likely hear
the security officers whispering
“ssst!” or hear them say
“silenzio”. Taking pictures is also
forbidden and those who reach
for their cameras are immediately
warned by the officers. You will
hear the sounds of “no pictures,
no video” repeated over and over
like a prayer. I took a risk for you
