it. The discipline of its employees,
the preserved original decoration
and unchanged uniforms take
you back to those times. Another
famous patisserie of Vienna is
the famous Demel Patisserie
located in Kohl Markt in the street
across Hofburg entrance which
dates back to 1786. You can
view the kitchen area separated
by glasses from the lower floor
where you can also smoke.

manner. It is possible to taste
the registered brand of Saacher
Torte here. We started talking of
dessert but when we say food
and drinks the most famous
one is of course schnitzel. And
of course Figlmüller if we want
to taste schnitzel. The historical
restaurant is located in a passage
overlooking the Gutenberg
Square near Stephansdom. The
entrance is small and ordinary
but you can spot the restaurant
thanks to the long line of people
in front of it. The same restaurant
also has a branch which is easier
to find on Baeckerstrasse where
the passage entry is located.
The best schnitzel of Vienna is
huge and is served with a potato
salad that is almost tastier. You
should definitely try it. Of course
we won’t be eating and drinking
only at touristic spots. You can try
the famous sausages of Vienna
from the stalls at every corner.
We can suggest Nasch Martk for
more economic alternatives. This
market near Karlsplatz is a very
organized place. Vegetables,
fruits, cheese, wine, desserts,
fish, meat and meat products
are sold here and there are also
restaurants that serve world
cuisines. A great majority of the
tradesmen here are Turks and you
can find Turkish, Greek, Middle
Eastern and Asian products. A
very colorful and rich flea market
is opened up on Saturdays at
the car park in the region. It is
possible to reach Nasch Markt
easily by getting on the U4
numbered and green colored
subway line. The Kettenbrucke
stop is right next to the entrance
of the market.
Vienna is a leading capitol in
terms of wine making in Europe.
Since it is surrounded by many
vineyards, wine houses have
become a tradition here. The
region outside Vienna is ideal
for those who wish to explore
traditional Vienna. You can
taste the local wines at the wine
houses and listen to live music
by local musicians while enjoying
your meals. Those who wish to

Grinzing and Rudolfshof in their
