really an expensive city, there
are alternatives that suit every
budget. It is best if your priority is
a location on the subway or tram
route and if possible within a
few stops to the Duomo Square.
There are low cost and enjoyable
hotels around the Navigli district,
around the canal. Alternatively,
you can also rent a house/apart
hotel room using the renting web
sites which have become popular
recently. It is up to you.
Transportation
Transportation within the city is
very comfortable and advanced
in Milan. You can go anywhere
you want with the three lines of
subway and tram. The orange
trams are to Milan, what the
red double-decker buses are
to London. Trams that date
back to 1881 have the world’s
longest lines. The bicycle rental
service known as Bike-Mi is a
perfect alternative for those who
are young and those who feel
young.
