başına yaşamaya başlayan
Ziya Nail Dölen’in adasına.

Reflection of all times…
Legend has it that we owe
Gölyazı where all beautiful things,
its past, present and future are
reflected on the Uluabat Lake to
the angry father of a hopeless
lover. “Once upon a time, the
Odryses Creek south of the
Marmara Sea flowed into the
sea from Bandırma. The Melde
Kingdom near the creek was the
sister country of the Apollonia
Kingdom which was located
where Uluabat Lake is today.
One day the King of Melde asked
for the daughter of the King of
Apollonia’s hand in marriage,
however the father of the girl
has not approved. Indeed, he
has ordered a palace to be built
on the surrounding hills so as
to protect his daughter from the
King of Melde and his son. The
