was opened for service in June
15, 1997 following the second
tender by the municipality
starting from the second half of
2009. Santral Garage is no more
but its memories are scattered
to all four corners of the new
terminal. Just like the pictures
that were on exhibit several years
ago… This part of the terminal
has been serving the fields of
art for a number of years now.
The photographs, paintings,
relief works of different artists are
placed on exhibit here.
Today, the Bursa Terminal
embraces people lovingly much
like it did in the past. It unites
loved ones, collects the scattered
remains from those who are
separated and wipes off the
tears that flow freely when loved
ones leave. It shares the joys,
excitements as well as pains.
It does not forget its Santral
Garage years and does not allow
anyone to do so either… It hides
those precious days familiar to
the locals of Bursa in the past
much like a gemstone. It protects
the remains of yesteryears for
posterity. Look around carefully
when you come here again. Like
you have never looked before…
Who knows what you will see,
what lives you will witness and
what stories you will share?
