“There is voice, I can hear”
İçimden bir ses diyor ki, bu başlık aklınızda bin bir çeşit titreşim yarattı. Herkesin zihninde bambaşka sesler
canlandı. Kulaklarınız uğuldadı. Bazılarınız sessizce düşünmeye başladı. Hayatımızda o kadar ses var ki
kimisini seviyoruz, kimisinden kaçacak yer arıyoruz.
A voice inside me says, this title created a lot of vibes on your mind. Generated various voices in everyone’s heads.
Your ears started buzzing. Some of you started thinking silently. There are so many sounds in our lives, we love some,
and we try to avoid some.
Ses veriyorum: See... Aaaa...
Biiir ki... Eko yapan bir tema
belirledik bu ay: ses... Bu
sebeple konu başlıklarımızdan
birisi de sesin ta kendi olsun
istedik. Kulak verirseniz
anlatalım: Kulağın duyabildiği
titreşim; duygu ve düşünce
diye tarif ediyorlar sesi.
Ciğerlerimizden gelen havanın
ses yolunda yaptığı titreşim;
herhangi bir davranış, tutum
karşısında uyanan ruhsal
tepki diye de biliniyor. Ama
tanımlama bununla sınırlı
değil. Evrene gönderdiğimize
inanılan mesajlardan tutun da
güzel ve etkileyici olan birçok
tınıya; aralarında uyum bulunan
ya da bulunmayan milyarlarca
titreşime tepki veriyoruz.
Mecazi anlamda biz de onlara
ses veriyoruz.
Hayvanları düşünün. Aklınıza
ilk sesleri gelecektir. Her
gün duyduklarımız vardır;
dırdır başımızın etini yiyen
muhabbet kuşları, çok
havladıklarında biraz kızsak
Testing: Check… one, two, peas,
potatoes… The theme for this
issue is “sound”, so one of the
titles will be sound itself. If you
please lend me your ears: Sound
is defined as vibrations the ear
can hear; generating emotion
and thought. The vibration of
the air from your lungs in the
larynx; reaction to a behavior,
attitude. Evidently, the definition
is not limited to this one. From
the messages we send out to
universe to all pleasant and
impressive tunes; we react to
millions of vibrations, coherent
or non-coherent. We figuratively
give them voice.
Think of the animals. The first
thing that comes to mind is their
voices. The ones you hear every
day; the nagging lovebirds, our
faithful friends the dogs at whom
we get angry when they bark
too much, cats that can cross
the boundaries of decibel with
their meows, seagulls enjoying
freedom with their screams in
the sky or crows that draw our
attention with their clever ways
and ear piercing sounds… Some
we see in the rural areas; the
crowing rooster that gets into
