gün de sürebiliyor iki ay da.
Küçük oldukları için çabuk
biter zannediliyor ama hiç de
öyle olmuyor.
Bu sanat akımına öncülük
yapmış olmanız, bu
alanda verdiğiniz eserler
size neler kazandırdı?
Her şeyden önce mutluluk.
Çünkü nereye varacağından
emin olamadığım, ucu
bucağı olmayan bir hayaldi
bu. Gerçekleştirmek başlı
başına bir mutluluk. Bunun
dışında Türkiye’de hala
yeterince tanınmasa da
yurtdışında inanılmaz bir
kitlesi oluştu. Bursalı bir
sanatçı olarak hem ülkemin
hem kentimin tanıtımını
yapmak benim için büyük
bir gurur. Son dönemlerde,
dünya genelinde en fazla
haberi yapılan sanatçılardan
biriyim. Daha önce adını bile
duymadığım ülkelere gittim,
dillerini bilmediğim insanlarla
tanıştım. Bir milyardan fazla
insan biliyor bu sanatı. Aynı
dili konuşmayan ama bu
sanat sayesinde ortak bir dile
kavuşmuş bir sürü insan var
artık. Yurtiçi ve yurtdışı sergileri
devam ediyor edecek de.
Bizde çok kıymeti bilinmese
de yurtdışında büyük ilgi
görüyor. Hem sanatseverler
hem de sanatçılar tarafından
takip ediliyor. Burada da
haberler yapılıyor ancak
gelip beni bulan çok fazla
kişi yok. Yurtdışı basınında
çıkan haberleri görüyorum
genelde. Bu işin biraz acı olan
kısmı. Oysa bana sorsalar
anlatacak o kadar çok şeyim
var ki. Bugüne dek bize ait
olan, bizim topraklarımızdan
çıkan çok şey başka ülkeler,
problem anyway. My hands never
shake when I am working, I am
lucky in that aspect. Contrary
to what comes to mind, I do
not use any magnifier or such a
device. I only wear my glasses
prescribed by my doctor. Of
course I cannot know what will
happen in the future, I mean if I
will have to use a microscope as
I get older or not. This is a work
of love. Not something you can
do if you really don’t want to or If
you do not really love it and put
forth your heart out for the sake
of it. It requires too much effort,
time and attention in comparison
with other forms of art. Micro-
art means sleepless days and
nights. It can take from about two
days up to two months. People
think that they are completed
very quickly because they are
small, but this is not the case.
What did you gain by
pioneering this art form
and by putting forth your
works of art in this field?
First and foremost, happiness.
Because this was a dream
about which I wasn’t sure
where it would lead. Being
able to accomplish this makes
me happy. In addition, there
has been an immense base of
followers outside of Turkey even
though it is not known too well
here in my country. Introducing
my country and my city to the
world as a local of Bursa is
something that makes me very
proud. Recently, I am one of the
artists who have been the topic
of the highest number of news
worldwide. I’ve been to countries
that I did not even know the
name of and met people with
languages foreign to me. More
than a billion people know this
art. There are many people now
who do not speak the same
language but who have found
a means of communication
through this art form. It is very
popular abroad even though it
is not appreciated a lot in our
country. It is followed by both art
lovers and artists. Reporters write
news articles here as well but
