ültimatomlarla karşılıklı namlu
doğrultarak burun buruna
geldikleri, 16 saat süren ve
tek kurşun atılmadan direkten
dönülen bir kriz ve bu sayede
atlatılan 3.Dünya Savaşı
ihtimaliyle de meşhur. Soğuk
Savaş’ın arda kalan hatıraları
olarak ise bariyerler, geçiş
noktası sinyal sistemi ve
Berlin Duvarı anıtı bu alanda
sergileniyor. Geçmiş tarihlerde
bunun gibi dünya savaşına
neden olabilecek büyüklükte
olan ama atlatılan krizler,
bilboardlarda anlatılıyor.
Mesela bizim de bir ucundan
müdahil olduğumuz “Küba
Füze Krizi”. Buradaki ABD
sektörüne ait olan meşhur
kontrol kulübesi orijinal değil.

Night Life
Of course you will not always
walk around during the day,
right? Since we tested out
Kreuzberg before, I would now
like to invite you to the terrace
floor of the building with the
large Mercedes logo which I
had mentioned in my previous
article. The spots here might be
good alternatives for passing
time while enjoying the Berlin
skyline at night from high up. It
is a spot where mostly 80’s style
entertainment never ends. It is
neighbor to a select nightclub
from where you might be rejected
if you do not comply with the
Dress Code. It would be wise
to wear something based on
your preference. I think it is very
important to look “cool” and
stylish for this venue. This is not
valid everywhere, but I would like
to warn you about this since I
saw people being rejected from
the door.
Friedrichstrasse and
Checkpoint Charlie
The following morning we can
go to Checkpoint Charlie with
those who did not stay up late.
Let us start by getting off at
the Friedrichstrasse stop via
S-bahn or U-Bahn. One end of
this street goes to Checkpoint
Charlie and the next to Unter
den Linden up to Oranienburger
Tor further north. There are
many spots where you can have
breakfast. It is a region that will
satisfy your needs both as a
touristic attraction and in terms
of shopping. We will reach our
destination after a short walk.
Those who head straight to
the target might first get off at
Stadmitte or Kochstrasse stops
and mingle with the crowd of
tourists beforehand.
Checkpoint Charlie is the main
control and check point between
East and West Berlin which was
used from 1961 until 1990. Not
for civilians, of course. Only for
the allied soldiers, ambassadors,
families of these people,
foreigners, representatives of
Federal Germany in Democratic
