fazla türü vardır. Hafif gölgeyi
sever ama güneşten de
uzun süre ayrı kalamaz.

Ege Bölgesi’nde özellikle de
Karaburun ve Mordoğan’da
yetişir. Sudan ayrı duramaz
Nergis. Tıpkı adını aldığı,
efsanedeki kahraman
Narkissos gibi…

as well as its elegant appearance
while in Ottoman poetry it is used
as the symbol of “waiting”.
Bursa is just the right city for
Narcissus with its famous
southwestern wind. Because the
southwestern winds support the
growth of the Narcissus plant. It
owes its length that can reach up
to 20 cm to 80 cm to this wind.
This wind makes Narcissus to
droop. It has about 40 types that
grow by themselves and more
than 1000 that are cultivated via
hybridization. It likes mild shade
but it cannot stay away from the
sun for too long. It will brighten
your garden and your window sill
as long as you take good care of
it. It gives more than one flower
on one stem. It grows in the
Aegean Region and especially
in Karaburun and Mordoğan.
Narcissus plant cannot stay
away from the water. Just like the
legendary Narcissus to which it
owes its name…
